This company is a fraud. Do NOT give them any information. You'll likely get a man with a heavy East Indian accent claiming to be from Hudson Law Firm, identifying himself as "Officer so-and-so." They'll probably have all your personal information, inc. address and SSN. They might say a lawsuit's been filed against you, you have an outstanding payday loan that's been turned over to them or any number of things. They might threaten you with criminal or legal action.
I received several calls from this company. They won't provide an address, the name of hte actual lawyer, even the name of the firm they're calling from. I asked questions and received information I knew was erroneous.
As soon as I called back and said "I know you guys are fraudulent and I'm reporting you to the state attorney general," the calls stopped.
If you ask too many questions, they'll either argue with you or hang up immediately.
I just got a call from them also. Their fax number is 213-596-5787. Type up a letter stating they must contact you through the us 1st class postal service and have not contact thru phone to you or any of your contacts they have and do not call you at work, if you dont do that, they will call you at home, work, and all your contacts until you do this, they are the 2nd so called law office that i have talked to MTE financial is who hired them, or any of their dba's. They cant do [***]. You cannot go to jail over a debt, so dont listen to their bs. Just fax over a copy of what I said to write and they wont contact you ever again cause once they put it in the mail, it become a federal offense, called mail fraud!
I got at least 20 calls at work in a row one morning and kept hanging up because I couldn't understand the heavy accent. Then he called me at home at 6 a.m., and I took the time to try to figure out who he was by talking to him. The guy with a heavy asian accent wouldn't give me his name, but said his supervisor was Daniel Morrison, and transferred me to Daniel--who has same kind of heavy asian accent. Their phone number 213-784-4846 (they say Hudson Law firm when you call this number) and fax number 213 596-5767. Daniel Morrison said there was a lawsuit filed against me, and had all my personal info., contact names and phone numbers, said I need to fax an apology letter to the creditor within 1 hour, and to say I did not do it intentionally, and to say I want to resolve it out of court in the letter. Said name of law firm is Hudson Law firm, Attorney John Hudson. Said he would accept only debit or credit card and afterward I would receive a letter that the case against me has been resolved. The first guy said (before he put me on with the supervisor) that he worked for Los Angeles County Coach. But his asian accent so heavy not sure because Daniel Morrison denied this. I have no outstanding payday loans and called the loan company from this list that Daniel Morrison said were his clients (Cashnetusa; Cash Advance; Click Cash and Easy Cash). I never had a loan with any of these and called to confirm with Cashnetusa who confirmed I never had a loan, never tried to get a loan, and they never heard of Hudson Law Firm. When I told the guy I was going to call the police and then the FBI, he hung up and I never heard from him again.
i received the very same phone call today concerning my husband and i's cash advacne. i could understand a thing he said except for online payday loan. we have had two of them so i contacted both they were both paid in full as i expected. i called again and a man with a indian accent said the guy that called was on lunch. anyways when i called back another time i said i was wanting to settle the balance....that was 614.00 he was ready to take my info and i gave him my attorneys information an said i was filing fraudulent charges he said uh hmmm an hung up. it is recommended to call all three credit reporting agencies an report fraud and all the federal trade commission...good luck!!!!
