213-784-7913----This is a phone number used by elements of the Russian Mob in NY for their finance scams.
They want to rip you off then destroy your good credit rating. The best way to deal with this problem is to
ignore their calls. DO NOT PICK UP. They will go away after a few attempts to get your attention.
Called me twice so far with no message of course. And I'm hoping for or expecting an important call everytime I get one of these types of calls......and I get a LOT.
The name looks like another collection agency or a financial services company, if it's not spoofed. I've been getting collection agencies calling me since 2009, looking for someone else.
I always check this site to see what others have experienced, even though I never answer calls wtih ID's I don't recognize. A legit company should have its name on their ID, and their voicemail should definitely identify them! (A post a few pages back says they don't even say who they are if you call THEM)
Sigh......Before the invention of the Do Not Call list, I actually didn't get many unwanted calls. Now I do (I'm on it), and I bet these scumbags get numbers off of it.
Be careful calling these calls back even from your blocked line... The number may be spoofed and be an 800 number in reality. Then they have your number and a verification that it's a live number.... JS
