Apria has been calling me from this number ever since I got a Bi-Pap mach from a local company. The only reason they call is because I do not have a CC on file with them. Each time I ask them if I owe them money and they always say no, then it turns into a 10 minute argument about why they need a CC when I owe them no money. I told them two times ago not to call me again and was told my number would be removed. They called again and I told them that time if they called again I would start legal action against them for harassment, they did not listen. They called today, again to tell me I did not have a CC on file and wanted me to give them a CC when I owed no money. I told them that what I said last time, told them I was going to start legal action against them and hung up. I've had it with this BS company.
Apria is a huge scam company. while providing valuable service they double charge scam insurance companies and harras people to get money they do not owe!!!!!
Apria has called twice in one week, once to "update" an expiring credit card record, and the last time to "remind" me of an outstanding balance. I only received the invoice two days ago and the balance is current. Since today is a Monday bank holiday, there has been no opportunity to pay yet, and they're harassing me to pay already! Came to find out their real motive for the call was to persuade me to authorize them to withdraw the funds automatically "to avoid getting these calls." No way would I authorize such access, considering what I've seen on this site, plus the way they've acted toward me already! I have the perfect way to avoid getting their calls: I will change providers at the earliest possible moment and have their numbers blocked!
Got a call from this number on my cell phone...let it roll to voicemail. It left a message to call Apria at 866-505-6365. I noticed that they mis-pronounced the name "Apria" in the recording. I called the toll-free number and got Apria's billing center. The rep I spoke with was very pleasant, and was just as puzzled as I was at why I got the call in the first place -- I have no outstanding balance with them, and have not for several months (I got a new BiPAP late last year, and between my copay and insurance it was paid off). She told me she was taking my cell number off the account and leaving my home number, which is what I wanted.
Now, this sounds like a happy ending...but it's really a case of deja vu. For three days earlier this week I received multiple calls per day (as early as 7am and as late as 9pm) from a different number (419-628-7049) that never left a voicemail. My wife called that number yesterday, and just like today, it was Apria...and just like today, they didn't know why I was getting called because I had no outstanding balance...and just like today, they said they would remove my cell phone number.
It will be interesting to see if I get more calls from Apria using yet another phone number.
