They called me from the following number: 214-446-9003.
The call back number provided in the message is: 678-816-1610.
These guys are scam artists. This is a popular ploy... They will call and try to alarm you so that you are not thinking things through like you normally would. They want you to be scared that you will be taken to court or arrested. Ultimately, what they want is to get you to agree to pay the (bogus) debt with one of your credit or debit cards to avoid catastrophe. To be clear, these are scam artists and do NOT represent one of your creditors.
The information they provide is completely false. You will not be served papers. You do not owe the debt they made up. It is 100% false… a trick… a hoax of the worse kind. Don’t give them any personal information. They will drain your accounts and by the time most people realize they have been a victim, the scam artists have set up shop in a new location with new phone number so the authorities cannot track them down. Be smart! Don’t talk to them. Hang up on them if you answer their call. Do not call them back if they leave a message.
Scammers call using VOIP and they are able to change the caller ID, to any number that they wish to display. So what actions can you take?

My boyfriend got a voicemail from these scammers but the message was address to me. When I called the "plaintiff" as instructed at (713) 588-4623 they immediately asked for the last four of my social. Of course I refused and hung up. Now I would like to know how they obtained my information/what information they have of mine!
I received a threatening call from 713-588-4623 saying that I'm being investigated and legal action is being taken against me. The also left a case number and stated that they would be verifying my address and contacting my employer. The person who called talked like he may have had a third grade education (no insult to third graders intended).
After I settled down, I called the number back and it's supposedly Integrity Payment Processing but they were closed. Now that I've read these other posts, I still plan on calling back tomorrow just to see what they say, but feel much better now that I know it's a scam.
I am now experiencing the same scenario. I got a call voicemail from (318)553-5140. The lady said her name was Cassandra telling me to call (713) 588-4623. I called to see who was going to answer and when she did, I hung up. And she sounded so "ghetto" (pardon my language). I already can't stand my cell phone and it irritates me when I get these phone calls and messages. I don't like for people to play on my phone and I want to know how they got my information!
Recieved this call from the same #, threatening they would take legal action and they had my personal info and I needed to call in to settle the matter to a 713 ph #... I called and immediatley realized it was a scam. Freaking to funny... these people need to get a real job and stop trying to scam people this way. Gee whiz. lol PS. The woman who called me from this 214 number really sounded like a kid with the way she was talking. Come on.
These people have been calling and contacting my family saying that I am in trouble with court and they need my information - I'm sure it's all host to get to me - I know all my legal and credit inquires - So stop the BS and move forward - quit harassing my family. You will not get any of my information - no one can even call your company back - nothing but a FRAUD.
