Total scam being run out of India. These fools don't know anything about how the US criminal justice system works. Only judges issue warrants and only on the application of duly constituted law enforcement officials. Warrants are only provided to members of law enforcement and are served in hand by law enforcement agents. This fool is just trying to scare people. Ignore him. Do not return his calls. Do not talk to these people.
Apparently this is some kind of new scam--to pretend to be with the state attorney general.
* File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
* File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
I too received a similar email message. Just ignore and erase your email message. Do not call or talk to them. I have reported this to the FBI. This is a scam. Do not worry.
I got an email from them with this number saying I'm being investigated for collater check fraud, theft by deception, and violation of banking regulations i don't even know what those mean.
This is truly a scam that states the state of Texas has issued a warrant out. They are using the Attorney General logo and I called the number and it is a foreign male on a voice mail. Do not fall for this scam!!!!
