My caller ID says "Kimberly Thompson." I've received at least 3 calls a day the last few days with the same message... "214-935-8751. I repeat the number is 214-935-8751 now if you don't return the call or in case if I don't hear from your attorney either the only thing what I can do is wish you a happy life as the law enforcement team of your state will be soon at your doorstep Goodbye." One call was at 6 am, luckily I go to work early, so was awake, but, this is ridiculous.
Three of the exact same calls. Accented voice, Alex, reading from the same script. This happened to be once before a year ago, and I googled the IRS which had a big warning up on this scam. The IRS said it NEVER communicates with people by phone, only by certified mail. Last time I called back and told the other man that I had the IRS website up and it had the phone number of the Commissioner of the IRS, I asked for his badge number so I could check him out with the main office of the IRS. He hung up. I've also gotten e-mails purportedly from the IRS getting ready to "file suit" against me. Asked my accountant about it: a scam. The IRS doesn't bother to file suit: just asks for its money or attaches wages, puts a lien on your house, etc., with no fanfare. These callers are predators, that's all. And counting on the fact the some people don't know the rules of their own government agencies...
Beware off this scam it is not the IRS please Google IRS. Phone scams and u see pages full off people that fall for it and reported them. They left me a voice mail saying final notice and a law suit red the IRS does not do that 1800 36644 84 to report them.
