Man in very broken English (mid-East accent) said he was from Windows technical support and that my computer was sending them warning messages that my IP address had been hijacked and for me to go turn my computer on right now & he would show me. I told him I couldn't get to it and he sounded surprised & said "why". Told him it was all disconnected b/c I was moving it to a new address. Sounds like a scam to me so they could hijack my IP address. Hung up on him.
(215) 455-4564 at 6am on thanksgiving day. I have not answered then call but after checking it out I'm glad I have not. The same number called again at 9am.
Called my business line,the ID said PA and I have clients in PA so I answered it. No one on the other end then a recorded voice said goof bye and they hung up on me? That is what led me to look it up and found it was a scam and not a client with phone problems.
received several calls from this number saying I had Dell Computer problems and noticed I downloaded something.... I dont even have a Dell Computer. Total SCAM!!!
