received a call from a 215-525-0073 from pennsylvania....just got this contract phone 2 days ago from metro pcs...for a 40.00 a month plan...and getting a new number...and having just given up a no contract phone from verizon which bill collectors kept calling me night and day...i made a big mistake not keeping my old phone number.....because i got tired of sprint...another big mistake...wasn't a great company...but a least i knew the number was not on a lhot list out there......thought it would be great getting a new number...wrong...looks like some of these old numbers have some issues.....i guess these cell providers/vendors could care less about phone numbers they passing around or could care less about these numbers having collectors..vendors...and other companies on their tail...or really my tail......but so far on this metro pcs phone...no bill collectors yet....beware of no-contract phones and new numbers...keep your old number if possible...unless you own money...have a death wish from an boyfriend/girlfriend/ex-spouse or ?.....keep your old number....
I never answer calls that I don't recognize and I am on Do Not Call List so I login to FTC and report the #s and I don't get as many calls as I use to. Too bad phone companies charges to block call. It should be built-in apps into the phone that would be a better deal. I wonder if there are any smartphones out there that let you do that?
