Got a second call from them today. It is BLOCKED, but rings ONCE before disconnecting. EARLIER in the day I'd gotten a call from "SVC" at 925-221-2018. This is at least the EIGHTH call from "SVC" at various numbers. But, I was unable to get to the phone in time to pick up/hang up within one or two rings to stop the call and 'confuse' the robodialer. That usually helps cut down on the number/frequency of these calls. When I don't/can't I find I ALWAYS get AT LEAST one more call that day (as I have today) from a 'completely different' (SPOOFED) number/name/entity (probably NOT!)
TRY the pick up/hang up method (and BLOCK all you can!); it seems to help!
U r right it is a scam I work for walmart and we never call someone and tell them they won a gift card u will be emailed or a letter with giftcard sent to ur home.
Got a phone call (8:42pm) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize.
(Does this mean that they are involved in Interstate Fraud?)
They, of course, left no message.
As always, I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for a number of years now.
(I guess this is our government at work for us. [Or not working for us.])
I'm going to

AND to
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls.
(Yes I will go through all those steps.) [I have also bookmarked these URL's.]
I have also assigned a silent ringtone to this number. (I am up to 73 now.)
