I keep getting harrasing phone calls from this number a strange man keeps saying hello than hangs up. Please if u see this number dont answer it . It seems like a scam
Well, it's a foregone conclusion they are not--and you have to inform them in writing (and VIA certified mail with return receipt attached) that your employer does not allow these calls and to cease calling. This is your right under the FDCPA. If they continue to call you at work after you have proof they received your letter, you can sue them for each violation.
That is illegal for anyone else to hear your business. You legally can tell them this in an inappropriate time to call and if they do not stop, contact an attorney. That is a viiolation of the Fair Credit Act. Read your law on collections
They no longer use the name of Seiler & Assoicates. It's now an Out of Area/Unknown call and the woman sttes she's from Travose, PA (that much is true) They are a debt collection agency trying to get information for a debt. At least they stopped using the Seiler & Associates which was fraudelant on their part.
I got a call and looked it up on iternet and found a law and collection agency. I do not have outstanding debts. I called back and they "could not find" my number to delete it.
