I keep getting harrasing phone calls from this number a strange man keeps saying hello than hangs up. Please if u see this number dont answer it . It seems like a scam
That is incorrect. Get their fax number or address. Write them a letter and tell them to "Cease and Desist" all attempts to call and contact you. If they contact you again, they are breaking the law and you can sue them. Yes, this is true. Read the fair credit act and contact your attorney.
They are not a law firm, they are a debt collection agency that use the name of a law firm (in another state!) to intimidate anyone who answeres the phone when they come a-callin'
The address is 1210 NorthBrook Dr in Pa. 19055 BUT they don't have a website (the real Seiler website is a law firm in Minnesota, it mentions nothing of debt collections)
This is a boiler-room type operation, the employees call themselves 'legal aids' when queried...
They are rude, threatening, and try to be intimidating. Proof of the alleged debts in question is never offered. This is a scam company that buys old, out of the statute of limitations debt files (for a nickel apiece), and uses that info to harass people and intimidate them into settling the alleged debt.
Either don't answeer, or if yoyu accidnetally do...stay on the line and WASTE THEIR TIME. Eventually they get reallly pissed and realize that they are the ones being screwed.
This # called my cell phone today and insisted that I WAS or KNEW the person that they had asked for. I told them several times..."wrong number and I don't know who that is". Kept it up and I finally hung up. How do these scamers get by with calling numbers on the "do not call list"????

It appears that Thomas Landis Lawfirm has set up a shell corporation to cover up his real actions. I disbar attorneys, and I am experienced at this, and I am NOT a lawyer, and don't need to be one either to do this.
I filed a complaint with the FTC and the Attorney Generals office against both Oxford Law LLC and Thomas Landis today.
I do not know the person they are seeking, a Teniqua Perez (sp?), who might not even exist.
I will follow up on this tomorrow, and complete my investigation, if this "firm" not is licensed to do business in my State. If they are not, I will report this to FBI as an illegal interstate racket. Do not answer their calls.
I received a call yesterday at 4:35. I told them they had the wrong person and to stop calling this number. (I have had this number since August 2010 and continually receive debt collection calls for a woman by the name of Vanessa.) The man who called started yelling and asking why I was so upset about a phone call and said they would not be calling again. He continued to berate me. He would not give me the name of his company when asked. I said, "Thank you for not calling this number again" and hung up. I called back to get the name of the company and report him, but got the message AT150, which said the number was no longer in service. Star 69 did not work either.
