They have called several times asking for someone with a different name.  I called and phone was answered with just a hello (female) and then she puts on some guy.  Asks me for a reference number and told him no one ever leaves a message and i WANTED TO KNOW WHAT IT WAS IN REGARDS TO AND GOT THIS REPLY......WHAT NUMBER ARE YOU CALLING FROM AND THEN ASKS IF i AM JANE DOE AND I TELL HIM NO AND HE TELLS ME HE WILL REMOVE THE NUMBER....THIS IS SOME KIND OF SCAM SO BEWARE.......I have contacted the FBI and attorney general for my state....do the same if you hear from Oxford Law, LLC

I don't know who this person is, or what they want.  Don't answer this call.

I have been once again contacted by these people and then redirected to call another number : 1-877-543-6151 ext: 113. The lady said she was Angie Star. When my daughter called them, she was put on hold and then transferred to several different people before a woman answered. This woman asked if she was Brittany. My name is Brigitte. My daughter said no, it would be Brigitte. The lady chuckled and stated, "Oh sorry it's been a long day." She then went and started telling her that she, though it was suppose to be about me, owed $15,000. and that it was now at the attorney's office, which supposedly the lady worked in. My daughter then informed her that she, me really, had been told to contact this place due to some money being owed that she, me, didn't know about. The lady then started to yell and told her that she, me, did in fact know about it and has been contacted repeatedly about it. That it was in December of 1997, which has been 14 years ago, and that I had made payments for five years. That she, me, could have reported to the police about identity fraud and that she, me, in fact hadn't. She then stated that she would help her, me, cut a deal with the attorney so that she, me, wouldn't have to pay for the fees and all of the money in one go. After some more harassment, my daughter replied again that she didn't know anything about this and that she would like this all to be mailed so that she could see all this and also that the information was incorrect, the lady then profusely yelled at her. A man then cut onto the line. My daughter handed the phone over to me as he started talking. The man was talking in a mannerly fashion. He listened and spoke in a soft voice. I told him about several sites that stated that his company was in fact a false one and he replied that I needed to look up reliable sources. My daughter still next to me listening then pulled up the better business bureau. She type his number in and it was not in the records. He then replied that we had to type in the name, which my daughter did. What came up were two lawn services, one which was with the business bureau. One law firm that was not with the business bureau and it was located in Florida. After me stating this the man quickly hung up. So if you are called by 215-526-6200, 215-526-2600, or 877-543-6151. DO NOT ANSWER.

Got a disturbing call from a Mr. Lee Walker of the Oxford Law Firm, LLC.  He said a company I am a partner of owed over $23,000 in credit card debt.  We have no credit card debt.  But he was very aggressive and combative, assuring me they will hound me until the debt is paid.

I just received a call from this source. Back in 2004 someone stole my identity and it has been an on-going battle to get removed. because of this, I get my credit reports from the big 3 every year. I have also researched this and found that if I cite the Fair Credit Reporting act of 2001 which has covers calls like this will stop some of these calls. I asked the woman details on the supposed debt and she said that I had opened this account 12 years ago. I scanned thru my credit report and told her that I could find no record of this debt. she started to get abusive and I finally said that if indeed I did owe on this debt ( I paid off all my cards that I owed on before my id was stolen and cancelled my cards ) the statute of limitations for my state is 6 years and the big 3 only report on items for 7 years. She started getting more abusive and I finally hung up on her.
