IF it is a legit collection agency? Why do they not just tell you which creditor they are collecting for and be open and honest about it? Most people now days have had a few late bills, lost jobs or had health issues or been scammed. Nobody trusts anyone any more, can we be blamed for not wanting to verify information they should all ready have? Just state the business and lets deal with it, why so secretive, it comes across as shady. Tate Kirlin and Associates will be researched and a direct number to the main office will be found and a call will be made. Yes consumers must pay their bills, it's a law. But collection agencies can not be hateful or rude or harass. Just say what credit card or business or loan company you claim to represent so the matter can be handled. If you so get the name of the creditor they are representing, call the creditor directly, you do not have to deal with the collections agency, And if they put a bad report in on the credit score sites, call the sites help lines and deal with them personally about it.
Called my cell phone this late morning, rang four times than hang up with no vm left. According to this thread it is Tate & Kirlin Associates scam robo calling, trying to get me to pay them something,
Misguided/Corrupt third-rate Collections Agency. They use automated mass-dialing. And by the way: you're in debt... and there's NO convincing these people otherwise.
I do not want these people to keep calling. They call several times a day, often not even saying anything after I say hello. If they do talk they want my address, birth date, etc.
