Hey! They hung up on me too. I wanted to ask how they got my number since I'm on the DNC list and my loans have been paid off for many years. I think they are scammers as I can't get a hold of a real person by calling back.
This number called me and it was a robo call at first. I wanted to talk to someone because my loans have been paid off since 2013. I don't know where they got my number but as soon as I told the woman I don't have a loan she hung up. I called back and left a message stating I am reporting to FCC.
Answered a call from this number and got a recording telling me that this was "just a courtesy call about your student loan". I hung up because I don't have a student loan. Obviously a scam call to either try sell refinancing of a loan or steal credit info.
