Who called from 2158459018

Recorded message saying my student loan qualified for federal help, or something like that.  Haven't had a student loan payment in years.  I'm old.

Just got a call, no message, but when you call back there's a recorded message allowing you to be added to their own personal DNC list

The recorded  message to my cell phone was indecipherable. After reading other resposes here it looks like it's a scam.

I got call on my cellphone number which is on DNC list. I know that scammers and other illegal activities do not follow DNC procedures, but this number is used only for emergency callers like doctors and hospitals and relatives all of which would leave VM. I called the number back and there was VM with prompts to be connected, also to DNC, and to leave VM msg re market practices, and also to have them report themselves (oh yeah, right) to regulatory agencies.

Didn't answer but read what others said. Blocked this number accordingly. Scam for student loan debt forgiveness. Definitely not legitimate as I know the status of mine and have been in touch with loan servicer.
