Well that was two weeks ago and I am still free. If this dude calls you just know that his threats are empty, he has no power at all, he is just a punk scammer trying to scare people into giving him money. Just do what I did and tell him to pound sand and NEVER to call back. Then report him to the FBI.

Had my attorney return the call & was advised it was imperative that I speak to mr rosenthal although very arrogant he was more than understanding and very helpful if you ever recieve a call my advice would be to return it
Sure thing, I'll return that call from the "very arrogant" yet "very helpful" Mister "Rosenthal" ... with my recorder rolling so I can capture each syllable of the FDCPA violations which are sure to pour forth from yet another "hot check" scammer.

Whether you are called a debtor or some collector thinks you can flush one out, you have rights and options. Many are simple to exercise if you only learn how. You are granted control of how you are contacted, the right to dispute debt claims, and the means to sue violators at low cost. The FTC and the CFPB can start you on your homework. See also if your state laws grant additional or stronger rights.
