It's a spoofed number which means the number you see in caller ID is a fake number.
I too just got a call less than an hr ago & stupid was too stupid to realize she was talking to an answer machine. You know like, hello....like, why don't you talk to me, like, you was talking & like, nothing now. Stupid was irritated no one answered her disgusted tone "Uhhh, helloooo!"
These people at 216-278-0121 called my cell phone today. I answered and after a long silence I was told I have an outstanding balance on a pay day cash loan, and they could help me. I have never taken out a payday loan, nor do I need to. I told the woman to "kiss my butt" and she quickly hung up. Hopefully, I will not hear from them again. I did block that number after her call.
Called me all day Tuesday the 14th said I had an outstanding pay day loan. I ask them who they were calling for they could not give me a name so I asked them how did they know I have an outstanding payday loan. She hung up on me lol. FYI I do not have an outstanding payday loan or any other loan or credit card I wish these people would quit calling me. I'm on all the do not call list can anyone suggest something to stop these calls?
I've received two calls from this number today. When I answered the first time, I got a recording that said "Hi, this is Dad" or it might have been Dan - not sure. I did not answer the second time. I have received two other unsolicited calls today from other numbers. Jeez.
