I received a couple of calls and the same thing happened to Fe happened to me too. This is very annoying and is this a scam or virus or spyware? I'm fr Singapore.
Yup... just experienced the same thing as Fe and H. It's irritating because I thought it from someone in the USA trying to reach me!

Touch down in New York, switch on mobile once out of Terminal, phone rang soon after and automated voice say " goodbye ". Arrhhhh..... As I am typing this, the above number call again! What the hell!!? Its 1:25am here in New York! I strongly believed its a scam. Pls pass the word around readers.
Yes these guys are persistent and will call every other day. Received many calls from this number on my mobile but never pick up any of them. Called again today and i cut the line off as usual but guess what??? The next minute, i received a call on my office phone! (How the heck these scammers got all my contact numbers???) A woman who spoke with a heavy caucasian accent was on the line and greeted me with my full name. She claims to be from Washington and represents a comapany call MBS who's looking for the right people to help expand their business in S'pore and then went ahead to confirm my occupation. She then say that another of her colleague will be calling shortly with more details .. Sensing something's amiss, i cut her short and tell her not to call again. Hope these scammers realise i saw through their hoax and won't bother me anymore. Makes you shudder the next time you are asked to fill in that particulars form... never know where your personal info will end up..
