Folks, stop moaning about these folks. Get in touch with your State's Attorney General's office and complain with specifics. It has worked every time when these agencies called asking for someone who doesn't live at my home. It's amazing how successful a letter from your attorney general is. They fade into the woodwork.
They called and talked to my mom. My account has been paid in full for a while. They said it was fraud. They know my mom's name and number, as well as my sister. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them and no one can tell me why they are calling but want my name, address and social security number. ARE you kidding ? Talked to 1st Financial and my account is PAID IN FULL and has been for several months. Never late on a payment either.
Ist Financial makes 15-20 calls per day to my cell starting at 8am and continuing after 9pm each night. I have sent a letter requesting the calls cease as I cannot afford that many calls on my cell. I have paid my payment but the calls keep coming!
I just started receiving calls from this number two days ago... Not only am I receiving calls, but my phone barely rings once before they hang up... How the heck am I supposed to answer when you don't even let it ring???? ... It's 8pm now here, and I guarantee I'll get another 2-3 calls before they're done for the night.... and the worse part is they're the same way on Sundays as they are the rest of the week. Yes, I get that I owe money, but calling me multiple times per day, not giving me a chance to even answer the phone, isn't going to get it to them....
Hey get in touch with these folks. They are nice and will work with you. If they are not calling for you then just tell them and they will take care of it.
