Who called from 2167121591

This number has been calling my cell phone. That should be illegal because it cost's me minutes, and that translates into dollars.

This call was made to my cell phone.  When I answered, they hung up.  Who are they?  I don't recognize the number.

Just got a call of 216.712.1591 - recorded message from "Account Services" tell me that my time for the interest rate reduction was going to expire soon on my credit card. (I don't have a credit card)

I pushed one to speak to someone. A women answered the phone, and it sounded like she was in a call center of some sort.

She asked me about my debt, which I made up that I was over $5000 in debt and paying over 15% in interest. She didn't speak that clearly, so it was hard to understand the script she was reading from.

She wanted to "Confirm my account information" at this point is normally when they steal your identity and credit card information.

I asked about how they got my information and she said from the credit beureu.

I then asked what is the name of your company she said "Account Services" I said that isn't the name of your company, that isn't the name of any company, it doesn't even make sense. It sounds like a department of a company. To which she repeated that the company was called Account Services.

I ended by saying I think this is a scam, to which she said ok and hung up.

Just got a call from these people, asked to be taken off their list as they have changed their location evidently and she hung up.

Terrible - what can we do?
