9/29/14 - Received a call from this # 216 894 3535, woman with a heavy Indian accent stated she had called several times over the last few days/weeks to notify us of a technical problem with window on our computer to which I answered, oh really.. give me a good number where I can call you back, she said that she couldn't do that. I told her I seriously doubted there was any problem with windows, because we didn't have windows, she hung up!

I received my first call from this number today around 12:42 pm. I did not answer and of course they did not leave a message. I received the next call at 1:49 from an unknown number. I have been receiving lots of calls from telemarketers so I decided to answer and ask that they do not call me again because I am on the do not call list. The man said that he was Sam from some computer place that I had spoken with (of course I had not). I asked him to remove me from his list and to not call my number again and hung up. 1 minute later I received a call from +0000000000. 3 minutes later I received 4 calls from an unknown number. 2 minutes after that I received 3 calls from an unknown number. At 2:02 I received another unknown number call. I answered because at this point it was getting ridiculous. As soon as I said hello, "Sam" started telling me to shut up, shut up, shut up. I immediately hung up. At 2:05 I received another unknown phone call which I answered just to see if it was still the same piece of crap and it was. He again began telling me to shut up and said that he would f*** my s*** up and I didn't want to mess with him because he would get me. Needless to say, I called my service provider who informed me that they basically couldn't do anything because of the numbers showing up as unknown. She advised me to call the police and make a report and then think about changing my number. While on my work phone with her, I received 2 more calls from an unknown number (2:18 pm). I have a call in to the cops now so hopefully they can find out who this low life is and then I guess I'll be changing my number which is going to be a huge pain so I can thank the jerk for all the inconvenience he has caused me and my shot nerves. If anyone else gets a call from this "person" (I can definitely think of another word that unfortunately isn't appropriate), please report them. This is someone going to a ridiculous extreme and I may be as well but in this day and age, you just never know what people can find out about you.
Just wanted to post an update...the police have no way of tracking this scum which I figured...I hadn't receive any calls since the last two I previously posted about so I thought they must have moved on to someone else who ticked them off or some poor sap they were actually able to scam but unfortunately I just got another call at 3:49pm...gonna have to think real hard about changing my number I guess.
Your caller is from India. It is an extortion scam that these thugs are using, and calling everyone who has a telephone. No, your local police can't do anything and the Telephone service provider people told you to call them just to get rid of you. It is an international crime and must be handled by our worthless government people.
I too rec'd this call tonight. I have a degree in Computer science and am well aware of how my computer functions.
My first comment to him was, what kind of scam are you pulling. He assured me it wasn't a scam. I continued to listed to him go on about how my computer (Windows) is infected and Microsoft (him) had rec'd the report. I told him there is no way and his said my computer did it automatically, I told him that it is odd that any of my software would have my phone number attached. In the end I told him that I hold a degree in Computer science and if anything were wrong I could fix it. I also may have suggested I would hack his dumb [***] :)
