They just called. Horrible accent, tried to find out our address, they had some wrong information from Google. Also they are liars, because the man who called asked if they can come in person to our office.
I'm from Beirut, Lebanon (middle east), just received a call from this number with a terrible arabic accent, speaking formal arabic (a language we don't usually use), he said they are updating a GPS map, he knows our business name, i gave him the type of business. it seems they're making calls around the world.
Annoying calls
Fact 1 - The DNC list CLEARLY does not work, everyone should knows this by know!
Fact 2 - Filing a complaint with the FCC does not work, a total waste of time; done that.
Fact 3 - Having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4 - Asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5 - No "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy. Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset, and they work beautifully! These phones also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
Just received a call from 216-912-2002, Caller refused to identify himself, very hard to understand, with an Indian? accent. Wanted to know if I ran a gun store, when I told him no he replied "do you sell guns?" At this point I again asked who he was. It sounded like he may have replied "nasdaq". As a private gunsmith I am not in the habit of indulging someones inquisitiveness when it comes to my line of work. I asked him what he wanted, and his reply was unintelligible. At this point, I hung up. I am also on the "do not call" registry and have no idea where he may have gotten my phone number or business information.
I have been getting calls from this number and its a male and is hard to understand, he wants to know if this is a business or a resident phone number. I see by all the messages a lot of people are getting calls, I'm on the no call list, so I will contact them too..
