Received phone call from this number, which only rang once (my blocked numbers only ring once). Name said Satyam Computer. I googled the firm, and their website reports a large India-based multinational with $2 billion in sales. Here's info from their annual report. "The results of business entities, which have been consolidated, with the results of Satyam include subsidiaries –Satyam Computer Services (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., Satyam Computer Services (Nanjing) Co. Ltd."
They call either at 6:00 AM or in the late afternoon, the man has a thick accent and when I ask him to state his business he hangs up. I called this number back but the answering 'service' said the mailbox was full, which didn't surprise me. I'm sure the mailbox is maxed out with angry, irritated messages! I couldn't even make out the business name as it was garbled.
I got a Telephone call last night around 8:30 asking did we sell books and what our address was. I was being smart and told him I don't Give that information over the phone. He also wanted to know what kind of books we sold I told him Christian Books and we had a website. When I started asking him questions he hung Up
I got a call from this number 7th July & again today, same Indian accent I asked him why he was calling again and he said it was for "Map quest" I called the number back and got No reply
Got called today from this number. Man with heavy Indian accent wanting to know our address and what we sold. Then he hung up before I could ask what this was for.... Sounds like a scam to me.
