I have reported these numbers on numerous occasions even through the FCC website - why do they not STOP THESE people?????? I am also on the do not call list - does that not help either?

I just spent an hour going through old address books trying to find numbers for family members I haven't spoken to in 5 years because I thought someone was trying to call me to let me know my mother had died...caller ID but no message, etc...
I wish there was some way to extract revenge on these carpet cleaners.
you could say you had a 24 thousand foot home with carpet in every room that you would like to set up an appointment to have it cleaned. When they come to the door open it and say Fooled Ya...how do you like it!
I received a call from this number today. I never answer calls from numbers I do not know. If it is important, they can leave a message and I will call them back. This "person" did not leave a message. I sure have been receiving alot of calls lately from numbers which are long distance, solicitors, at least one per day.
Come the first of the year, I am purchasing a call blocking phone. The investment is worth the peace of mind.
