I just received acall from this number, but when I answered no one was there. I wonder if it was a robocall looking for numbers where a live person answers the phone. They then can sell this list.
I am on the Do Not Call list as well, but that does not seem to matter very much.
They will call just before coming out, or call when they are actually at your door. It's nice to be able to answer the phone and confirm that you're home.
This way, they waste time and money and gasoline. If enough people do this, eventually it destroys their business model.
I did the press 1 deal and asked for the name of their attorney so I could sue them. They tried to tell me that since they were selling a home service, not a tangible product, that they were exempt from the Do Not Call list. Yeah right.
