Claimed to be from Microsoft, had accent, very hard to understand him, he said my computer is sending error messages. Told him no thank you and hung up. Caller ID: Minnesota.
They’ve called me 3 times now.
As per instruction from the FCC office, I reported them to the FTC and the Florida Attorney General’s Office. According to the FCC, the FTC works to track down the scammers, while the Attorney General will “get the word out” so people don’t fall for their scams. Both offices were thankful for the information.
Will it help? One can only hope!
Man said he's from Microsoft he said he recieved an error report from my computer or some nonsense "hard to understand him" I have got this scam call 8 - 10 time from different numbers. The man was unprofessional and had a hard time repeating the same thing. I new it was a scam and was just messing with him.
