I have been getting 3-5 calls a day from 224-788-2006 and when I have answered, no one is there! I work part time for a business owner- book keeping and paying bills. I called Capitol One, ONCE from my cell phone to verify the amount due, told the rep I was the card holder's assistant and needed billing info; she couldn't give it to me of course without his social, which I didn't have with me, so no information was ever even provided. His Capitol One bills have gone to collections in the past, but he's been caught up and payments are sent on time every month for at least the past 5 months. I started reading these posts after getting my first call of the day from them and mid-way through writing this, they called again! Thats the last time I ever use my phone to call on his accounts; even if I was the person they're really trying to get a hold of, how does this company expect to ever collect debt by calling but, not leaving a message with a call back number, not having this number set up to receive calls and not having anyone on the line when I do pick up?! What a waste of money on their part and an annoying drain on my cell's battery!!
I have gotten two phone calls from this number in the last ten minutes. I never pick up, it shows up as IL, USA on my phone. I have no debt, so I haven't a clue what they're calling me for. It's obnoxious. I'm hoping they call again so I can answer and see what they have to say - if anything.
