insisted to speak to the owner, i told them i was the office manager they wanted to know if we were open the next day to stop in, i said we were closed. and she kept talking, trying to sell something, but would not tell me what. i finally hung up.
when i get calls like this at home, strange numbers on the caller id, i answer the phone Tony's pizza whats your order, please hold and then i hang up....at least i have some fun with them.
Your way of dealing with them has to be one of the best ones I have heard of. We are bombarded with calls from all sorts of these companies. They are the biggest time wasters of my day. We were recently scammed by a credit card processing company and not sure all of it is settled, they don't know when to quit. Will have to keep your answer in mind next time I get a call from this company.
