Just received a phone call from this number and they left a message on my answering machine. The message was a female voice stating "This is Michelle 'Man?' (couldn't quite make out the last name as it sounded garble) with Pretrial Negotiation regarding a case pending have you or your attorney return my phone call...if you do not govern yourself accordingly" To the best of both my husband and my knowledge we have to cases going. Of course I tried to call the number back and was told the number was no longer valid.
I got another call from this number the message we are getting is a recorded one , I ending one call as this one game in so it answered it and it tells you to press 1 to speak to a person. Seems funny to me! This recording claims to be a pre trial litigation or about a pending case but the recording did not give any case number, file , or name of person they are looking for and not even the company name they are calling from. I think its a scam, because you would get papers if there were a pending case. Sounds like they are hoping to get people to call and get there money plus not once has a live person ever left a message . So not answering there calls or giving it a second thought . Think about it it just did not seem right if you listen closely to the message its using scare tactics ignore it unless you get papers sent by certified mail or served to you , If they are not scammers they should already have this info so be safe and don't let scammers get our hard earned money. Is there a possibility it could be a collection agency maybe so , but I think not by the way the recorded message is because it would be against the fair collection laws.

Got a call from this number today as well And just like Kam it was an automated machine that told me to press 1 to be transferred to a live agent and I did then the lady who I can't remember her name said I was facing pending felony charges for trying to evade the loan company . They confirmed my last 4 of my social and my bday . But they couldn't give me a specific time of when I took out this cash advance/loan . All she could give me was the year and the place where I supposedly took out the loan and I googled them and couldn't find them . She then said I had put I was working at a certain place when in reality I did not work at that place until a year after when I supposedly took this loan out. After calming down I called the number back to which a young man answered and I told him that his company had been hired to find me and he seemed surprised and then transferred me to the same lady and I told her to repeat everything. I ended up telling her she was wrong abt me working there and I asked her how I would go abt paying . She told me she would transfer me to the billing department. I told her I would love to talk to them to which she said they had no information abt my account . All they would see would be the amount I had to pay . To which I laughed and told her that it sounded fishy . Why wouldn't they see my account ? But either way she kept calling me by my maiden last name which I've been married 2 years . You'd think they'd have all that info if they managed to "track me down" . I am convinced it is a scam because I never have taken out any cash advances or loans in my name . Ever ! If it does turn out that I am facing felony charges as they claim I'm sure they'll send me something in the mail signed by a judge or attorney . A real one with an actual court date and time .
We also received a call from this number so I
returned the call today and they were looking for my wife to recover some funds for a Payday Loan.
We never had a Payday Loan and would never even consider it. The lady said it was from 2011.
Seems like a scam to me.
She would not identify a business associated with the number.
Just be careful out there people!! There are a lot of scammers and some very good ones.
I recieved a call from this number today saying I owed money to an online lender. They had all of my information except the name of the company and the year I supposedly took out a loan. The lady hung up in my ear saying she's going to send out a warrant for my arrest if I didn't take care of this matter today. They said they were a Litigiation company but it seemed fishy to me and I've never received a letter or anything concerning a debt. Someone please help me understand. It really freaked me out and I panicked.
