I should add, the number area code suggests it's from Akron, OH, but we live in Washington state! Why would an OH number have the name of our neighboring county on it???

I am getting the same calls from this number everyday. They call and when you answer there is no one there. Also when you call it back it doesnt have a meaningful ot going message. This started happening right after I responded to someone on Craigslist (I was selling something). I thought it was a legit person wanting to buy what I was selling. After that response to them, I started receiving calls that night. Also, now there are people who are getting savy about spamming on Craigslist. Now they give a phone number to look legit and ask that you respond back to them via email if the item is still available. They want you to email back to get your email..
Yes, this was frustrating for me also... I got the calls because I had subscribed to the Kitsap Sun, then cancelled so they called to get me to sign up again.. I said no and this number kept calling me and hanging up... so today I called Kitsap Sun 360-377-3711 and told the lady that answered the phone what was going on... she didn't seem too surprised and took my number and said she was putting it on the do not call list right then.... guess I'm not the first one to complain... hopefully this fixes the problem
calls repeatedly and hangs up if you answer, if don't answer they don't leave a message, I called the number back and it says Metro News??? after going through several mailboxes that were full, finally able to leave a message on voice mail with my number not to call back!!!
