How many of you have an account with Sony for online gameplay? They were hacked recently and this number just started calling me aswell I have two cell phones one for personal and one for my business my personal is the one on file with Sony and that is the only one that is being called.
Sorry I left out that Sony specifically warned me about possible fraudulent activity and when I spoke with a representative on the phone they told me to keep an eye on my credit reports for the next year (I called them in regards to an email they sent about this) I hope this helps
i received a called today and the guy name Erik Parker told me that i was selected to receive 7000 he was calling from washington DC and that he needs to confirm name, address, then ask me for my age and wanted to know how do i want to receive the money, savings or checking account. I told him that i did not have a savings or checking account, that if he wanted he can send a check on the mail. Then he gave me a confirmation number and a call back number. He also say that Stacy Ross was his Manager. he urge me to call in the next minutes. Never call back... but i guess he wanted my account number.
Got a call from this guy telling me he wanted to give me $7000 and that all I had to do is give him my bank account information. I told him to send me a check to the address he has listed, he said he couldn't do that. When I asked why not he said the department of the US Government he works for 'cannot send out checks for this amount'. I told him they send me one every year for more than that and asked what the problem was. I then got I understand you think I might be a fraud... and he hung up!
