I've gotten 3 calls with no message; it seems to only ring a couple of times so there isn't time to answer even if I wanted to. It's really aggrevating!
I just got a call from this number.
He was an indian sounding guy. There was a lot of static on the call. He was very aggressive. He said he was from grants.gov which is a legit site but this guy was NOT from there. Said I was being granted $7000 but i needed to give him my checking or debit or credit card information to receive it. When I asked for more information, he got really rude and short and aggressive, saying I was wasting his time and didn't I want the money.
Ain't nothing for free, folks. SCAM CENTRAL!!!!!!!!!!
I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THE GUY TOLD ME THAT I HAD A ONLINE PAYLOAN FROM CASH AMERCIAN AND IT AS FOR $425. AND SINCE I DID NOT PAY THEM BACK ON TIME THAT THE POLICE WOULD BE AT MY HOUSE ON FRIDAY MAY 27TH TO TAKE ME TO JAIL FOR NOT PAYING BACK HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A CLASS D FELONY. I TOLD HIM THAT I'LL WAITING FOR THE POLICE TO COME GET ME. HE THEN ASKED ME WHERE I WAS I TOLD HIM SINCE THEY WAS SENDING THE POLICE THEY SHOULD KNOW WHERE I AM AT LIKE THE REST OF YOU I HAVE LOANED MY 9MM RUGGER WAITING ON THEM TO COME GET ME.
same phone call same ordeal tole him i wasnt sure about giving my account info over the phone he gave me a number to call his supervisor wendy 360-637-6806 I called it got no answer and no vm picked up i googled it looks like a residentual line in washington state google the 9 didget number and found this site...
this is just too scary, I was called by these people, and although i was not threatened as you guys were, the caller was super creepy. I tried to call it back, to no avail. I am going to see if the awesome IT people at my work can figure it out, if i get any info I will let you all know. Looks like from the dates on here that these calls are pretty recent. freaky weirdos out there!
