Thank you Kat. You are so right. I just went through this but the second I got hit up for money I knew what it was! And thank you DR PHIL!!! It's so very sad. This breaks my heart for me and especially for those who actually paid.
this person called like he was a buyer for real estate, went on to say he and wife would be in at the end of the week to see 4 properties $2.5-4M. He then went on to say that the pre requisite for his wife was that the agent was to dress up like she does with nylons and designer clothing and could I accommodate that? And then he said if I could accommodate that would I be willing to wear fishnet thigh hi's. That was enough for me! I hung up! he called back one more time. creepy
Scam. Said i won lots of money and had to pay a fee to claim it. Kept calling several times a day harrassing me to send the money. Reported to police fraud in july 2014.
I got a call from this number who says his name is Peter Lopez from the Federal Reserve Bank. He said there is a $350,000 check for me that I won in the lottery and I have to call Bank of America to get the check. WTF? I don't see how this scam is worth his time?
Caller called here about 9PM CST. Caller was claiming that someone was trying to kill her. My mother was panicking and asking who and what. She was trying to encourage her to hang up and call 911. Mama finally told her she was hanging up and would call 911 for her. The sheriffs' office here came back on the line with my mama and told her that it was likely a scam of some sort and to give the caller the unofficial number to the Sheriffs' Office when she called back. Again, the phone rings and my mama gave her the number to the sherrifs' office. They finally had to turn the phone off because the caller kept calling.
Called first by female, then male. Just starting cussing me out. Obviously bore and pathetic people. Just blocked the number, someone in florida should get hold of these people.
