At my Mother-in-Law's when the call came to her house. Up until today, she did not know that I had put hers and my numbers on the National Do-Not-Call list. She also did not know that her previous time on it had expired (good for 5 years only). Anyway, call got answered because a guest thought that they recognised the number. Well, they probably did recognise the number since EVERYONE is getting these calls. I copied the number down and FILED A COMPLAINT with the National Do-Not-Call agency. I read somewhere that there have been 102 complaints so far since August 20, 2008. That's all.
Same call and recording as above, and I also pressed 1 and waited to speak to a representative. I confirmed the name of the company was "Account Services" and that it wasn't just the department. When I asked to have my number removed and told the person I was on the do-not-call registry, he immediately hung up, so I filed a complaint at: https://www.donotcall.gov/
I also got a call from this number 239-437-4835 - when asked to be removed she hung up immediately.
The more people complain I beleive the less we will get calls like this.
