This so called Windows scam calls me usually twice a day.
My first response was to tell them everyone knows it's a scam because it's clearly stated in the Microsoft website that they will never call you.
Then I decided to mess with the. I told them I worked for Microsoft and wanted to know which department they worked for because knowing we weren't allowed to initiate calls, I was going to report them.
Finally,m since it didn't stop, I take a deep breath and yell SCAM into the phone as loudly as I possibly can. I hope the poor SOB is wearing a headset and I damage his hearing.
We normally screen all calls but have a sick friend in this area of florida so husband answered and it was a D Tiseth claiming to be from Microsoft so he handed the phone to me where I told her to F off and hung up. Another number to add to our blocked list until the come up with a new one.
Man with a heavy indian accent called me and said "we are receiving dangerous messages from your computer" and that was why he was calling "to help fix that".When I told him that I didn't have a computer he said "well, surely you must have a laptop" I said no, he grumbled a little bit and promptly hung up!
Let me tell you about "Greg with the thickest accent ever" So I come home to over hear my husband talking to this man. Saying that his computer was sending signals saying it was infected, i started laughing and took the phone and asked how do you know he it belonged to him and I said wrong answer but can I ask you if you buy cookies for our kids school. He cussed me out and hung up.
