I received a call from this number but it was showing a friends name in the caller I'd so I didn't look at the number and answered thinking I would be speaking to my friend...wrong. I interrupted the caller who identified himself as Ray. My friend's name is not Ray. Ray was not showing in the caller I'd. We was soliciting for law enforcement. I received the call at 11:45 a.m. on 5/25/17.
Rec'd call from 239-785-1897 on May 22, 2017 on husband's cell phone at 11:54am. Didn't answer it, no message left. Cannot block because Verizon charges to block numbers. Most likely a scammer.
Note: These sorts of calls are initially done by an automated system (hence the term "robocall") to see if anyone is home at the time the phone call is made. If you answer, it registers you are home & usually you'll get a call a few minutes later by 1 of their people OR you'll be scheduled to get a call from a real person within a few days at the time they know you're home. (Just an FYI.)
