They call this morning and a Lady named Alyssa Brown(even gave me her Batch ID) addressed me. She mention she is Chief Investigating officer from IRS and I have a warrant issued for my name as I have not responded to the IRS to 2 of the notices they sent me early this year. When I inquired further I was transferred to senior Agent Doug Miller. To add to the misery and make me more nervous they called me from a 1911 number that a Sheriff from a local police station is calling to ask about my location and tell me about the warrant. And in the end they ask for money to put the warrant on hold. Thank God I was not trapped and sensed their intentions so I hang up.
I feel so bad since this call and feel terrible for the time I trusted these scammers. Please be aware and don't fall into any trap.
Please call me back,. I would do great in a federal prison, golfing, physical fitness, catered meals, lots of dates. Ha ha ha ,. I also got a call while having lunch with my boss.
I was in the meeting when my phone rings so I immediately rejected the call knowing if its important they will leave a message. As soon as I hang up my phone ring again from the same number, I rejected again, they called again twice them left a message saying IRS filed a case for me blah blah like she sounds like a robot. Thank you people for posting, I immediately search and found this site, confirmed this is a criminal scammers who dont want to work and earn in a decent way.
I got a call from this number today. Freaked me out when they said they had a warrant for my arrest and that they gave me 2 previous notice and nothing. The lady gave me her name Alyssa Brown, said a case number and transferred me to some chief to help me not go to jail. After i got a chance to calm down, i finally hung up and called the real IRS line. Verified that these were scammers and that I am fine. Please if you get a calll from this number, hang up and dont waste your time.
