This is a report on "American Veterans Foundation" from "Military Money Matters:

This may be a legitimate company, though I have no verification. Other responses state the call was from someone with an Indian accent saying they were from Microsoft, which unless you personally know someone there, will be a lie. They wanted the people to "get on" their computers right away, possibly to remotely trojanize them.
I received this call when I was out of town Sept. 10th-18th, along with another one from 240-252-3089.
Got a call fro this number at 9:55PST. Caller ID shows WSNG236Z13 MD.
I let it go to the answering machine. No message left.
After reading posts here I have added to telemarketer block list on OOMA.
Thanks to all who contributed to the removal of telemarketing annoyonance!
Received a call at 8:23 p.m. tonight. Like others above, I have Caller ID so did not answer. I am also going to file a complaint on the Do Not Call website as this came in after 8:00 p.m. which they are not allowed to do.
Caller ID said V90620465900404 and then the area code and number above. These idiots have been calling for almost a month now since our computer was hacked in mid-August. Indian guy, sounding urgent, says he's calling about "your Wiindows computer." There are trojans and malware and he is going to help you get them off. Don't answer these calls. If you do, and they get a live number, they won't quit. If they don't do the computer scam, they will do the credit card one where "a charge has been made to your credit card and it is urgent that we check your number" and so forth. They are persistent and keep calling from all kinds of numbers. Last night,
this numer has called several times and we never pick up. remember if you do not recognize the nmer do not pick up. too many scamers and F***** up people out there. JUST DON'T PICK UP!
