According to FDCPA or Fair Debt Collection Practices Act it is illegal for any debt collector to state you will be arrested or issues a warrant for this type of debt. Read Section 806 under Fair Debt Collection Practices Act link. Also you have the right to tell any debt collector to cease and desist any further contact with you, your family and employment. Under Section 805. By law you have rights! FTC, FBI, FCC take reports like this all the time! Contact them and report these people! The people PDLR, CSA, CFS or other names they go by are FRAUDS they have over 3,000 reports on the number 240-247-1564 and other numbers from them! They scam people who do not know the law or FDCPA every day! FTC and Attorneys for Consumers all stated that they are criminals and they change they number and names so they cannot be tracked! Do not pay them anything and report them also, block them or tell them to cease any contact with you if they don't report them with FBI or local authorities as well as FTC, FCC. Have been receiving calls from differetnt people from number 240-247-1564 and they always say that they are looking for a person with my same last name. Do not know the person that they are mentioning in voice mail. Get about 2 calls a month. Call back number 877-288-4317. I never call them back. Sound and smells like a scam.
These people are calling my place of employment for a payday loan paid 6 years ago.They said they are not a collection agency and would not tell me who they are other than Arbitration/legal dept suing people like me for fraud pay day loans . They are violating many ,many FDCPA and TCPA if they were a legitimate agency which is obviously not the case.
Creep somehow got my cell and also called my home phone. same phone number and name, Carmen Jackson. Now that I know who/what they are, I think I'll call back and give them a piece of my mind. They cause unneeded stress. And now I'm pissed.
I just received a phone call from this person. Stating there's a warrent out on me?? could this be true or someone just trying to get money!! I did have several paydays loans, BUT paid off. Also, when I ask for proof I get nothing but junk from them. Nothing saying who, how much, or when I took this payday loan out.
got 2 phone calls from a number 678-909-0617 and 678-809-7920. said they were sending paperwork to wayne county to have my checks withheld for them to get their money....can they do that?
