According to FDCPA or Fair Debt Collection Practices Act it is illegal for any debt collector to state you will be arrested or issues a warrant for this type of debt. Under Section 805. By law you have rights! FTC, FBI, FCC take reports like this all the time! Contact them and report these people! The people PDLR, CSA, CFS or other names they go by are FRAUDS they have over 3,000 reports on the number 240-247-1564 and other numbers from them! They scam people who do not know the law or FDCPA every day! FTC and Attorneys for Consumers all stated that they are criminals and they change they number and names so they cannot be tracked! Do not pay them anything and report them also, block them or tell them to cease any contact with you if they don't report them with FBI or local authorities as well as FTC, FCC. I received a phone call from this number a few months ago and they claimed they were CFS and Associates trying to collect a debt from me for a payday loan. I had set up monthly payments to rectify this debt, but when they debted my account twice in a row I became curious. I called my bank and they told me that this was a fradulent company and that's when I cancelled all automatic transactions for this company. I received a phone call today from this number stating that I was being sued for this unpaid debt. ???????????
I have been recieving calls from him for months... I paid my account off in 2010 and still recieving calls from some guy named Don Mac. He has also called me off of 304-461-1105. He is very rude and very unprofessional, as well as his male receptionist. One key indication that this is a fraud company. He has harassed me as well as my family/friends. I suggest everyone that hears from a don mac to report this and make sure YOU CALL THE COMPANY DIRECTLY TO SEE IF IT IS UNDER INVESTIGATION. Never take a person's word that you are being investigated.
This feller called my land line looking for someone named ABC123 (name changed for legal blah blah)and then MY Cell Phone less than 5 minutes later. Now if he was looking for Mr/Ms ABC123 at mylandline, how and why the hell is hecontacting my Cell Phone?
Called my cell phone and left mesg. from Chloe Hart from PDL Arbitrators, saying there is a pending legal matter in my County and need to call them back right away at 202-684-7194, have had a few calls from them about a month apart. But can't get through when you call back
I received a call from this company today saying that i had an unpaid online payday loan, which i do, from 2007. I was told that they were pressing charges against me for fraud and theft. and that if i did not make payment arrangements for at least $50 a month, they were going to go forth and press charges in the county i live in. Can they even do this. I know they could take me to court and sue, but i didn't think they could actually sign warrants and press charges...
