According to FDCPA or Fair Debt Collection Practices Act it is illegal for any debt collector to state you will be arrested or issues a warrant for this type of debt. Under Section 805. By law you have rights! FTC, FBI, FCC take reports like this all the time! Contact them and report these people! The people PDLR, CSA, CFS or other names they go by are FRAUDS they have over 3,000 reports on the number 240-247-1564 and other numbers from them! They scam people who do not know the law or FDCPA every day! FTC and Attorneys for Consumers all stated that they are criminals and they change they number and names so they cannot be tracked! Do not pay them anything and report them also, block them or tell them to cease any contact with you if they don't report them with FBI or local authorities as well as FTC, FCC. i got a message left with a co worker from a brian jones calling from 678-823-6603 advising that he was with the legal attorneys office and the police were going to come to arrest me today for what i think was a payday loan i got back in 2005 for $200.
Wow, I can't believe everyone gets the call from the same Don Mack. He to threatened me with a felony warrant and jail. He had me upset and nervous, cause I didn't have the $400 he requested. He told me to try and get it and call back by 11:30 or else I would have a warrant for my arrest. After I got off the phone and told my boyfriend to discuss it. We knew this was not legal for him to do. Researched how a payday loan debt can be collected on, statute of limitations etc. Started googling the phone number he called from and found it is a scam. We need to remember to research the info before we just give out our info. I called him back to get the name of company and his supervisor's name, he got upset and asked me what lawyer I talked to. When I wouldn't tell him, he said he was just gonna serve the warrant and hung up. I submitted a complaint on him.
caller said name was don mack called to tell sister to call or she was going to have 3 warrants sent out for her in 3 states told me personal info about the case in question this guy is not legit
this don mack also called from 321-256-4652 its a local number the other number called from i called back and they answered it as check sevices these ppl are scammeers
