I received a call #319-555-0195(Caller ID) & I was left a message to call 240-324-6939 within 24 hours contact legal services, as US Treasury will garnish my wages. I call no answer.Scam! I going to get call blocker.
left a message on my phone saying the same thing called back and a person answer and I said someone left a message from this number and they hung up, called back and they would not answer.
Received a call from this number, left a voicemail stating I needed to call regarding a legal matter. Called the number back a man from a foreign country answered, was extremely rude to me, got irritated yelled at me then hung up on me. I notified my security officer, it's a phishing attempt.
Notified me that legal action was being taken against me. Demanded I respond within 24 hours. Claimed to be with the IRS/ Treasury Department. It is Illegal to falsely claim to be a federal agency!
The message was the same as the others. It's interesting that on all these calls they don't give the phone numbers in the usual way. We usually break after the third and sixth digit, they don't.
