I received a call #319-555-0195(Caller ID) & I was left a message to call 240-324-6939 within 24 hours contact legal services, as US Treasury will garnish my wages. I call no answer.Scam! I going to get call blocker.
Call from 310-555-0135 at 6:26PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time on August 28, 2015 and message left on answering machine…
“Trying to reach you in regards to a law enforcement action that has started on your name. This confidential message is from the Legal Affairs Department Judgery to inform you of law enforcement that has started on your name.
To make your statement against this claim which could result in garnishment or a civil judgment against you, you must call 240-324-6939.
I repeat: 240-324-6939
You and your attorney will have 24 hours to oppose this matter.”
Correction: Call was from 319-555-0195 at 6:26PM EDST on August 28, 2015. Old eyes misread the phone number on a small screen as posted above with Area Code 310.
319-555-0195 was the number shown. Also indicated it was from IOWA. I didn't answer but they left a message. Quality of message so bad that I could hardly understand it. Something about a judgment against me and I should call a number, which I couldn't understand, and I could make a statement. Also if I wanted a lawyer, I should have him call within 24 hours but they left a number to call and want to add it to this. The number is 240-324-6939 that just keeps ringing
Scam. Ignore and block the calls. There's no judgment against you. You can check this out by simply going down to the local courthouse and checking the civil defendants index. Indian or Pakistani scammers.
