I received a call #319-555-0195(Caller ID) & I was left a message to call 240-324-6939 within 24 hours contact legal services, as US Treasury will garnish my wages. I call no answer.Scam! I going to get call blocker.
Same thing with me. I reported it to the Federal Do Not Call List complaint website. My voicemail cut off the first part of the recording. The government is telling everyone to report these IRS scams. I keep reporting. Who knows maybe I will get paid one of these days for all of my aggravation.
I just received a call and they left message on voicemail that a legal matter against me has been started and to have an attorney within 24 hours. They left this number to call and I did not call back since I recognized it must be a scam. They also left phone number in an odd way. I am calling Do Not Call list to report.
I also just received the same kind of call from the same number as mentioned in the other comments today. I did not call back, but it certainly seems to be a scam. I wish the IRS could catch the @$@$% and put these calls to a stop. Ha...wishful thinking!
