I got a call from this number and lady said its census bureau and asked if my wife was there and heard noise of people talking in background and they hung up

THEY KEEP CALLING EVERY SINGLE DAY, AND IT IS GETTING ANNOYING. I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST, SO HOW ARE THEY GETTING THROUGH? I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A SURVEY OF ANY KIND, SO WHAT IS THE DEAL?

Got a call today, 3mar 2015. A bit leary of it, 'cause census was done 5 years ago.
As I remember, the -ONLY- information absolutely required, is names of who lives at a certain listed physical address. That's it. All other information is -OPTIONAL-, to your discretion; and whether you want them to know any personal information.
Looked up 240-420-6029 and it seems to be from Maryland branch of CB. My opinion, they have no right, nor business asking for the extra information.

This IS INDEED the Census department. I happen to have a cousin that works for them and the person I was talking to sits across from him.
