The original caller said his name was William Jordan. The lady who answered when I called back told me explicitly that they would file a lawsuit against me tomorrow, however, they did not seem to have my address, even though it's public and easy to find.
Near the end of my call, I asked this lady how their company made an income and she said from litigation - and she went on to tell me they would have to file against me since I seemed uncooperative. At first she said she was contacting me on behalf of a lawyers group in an attempt to settle civil charges out of court.
It's the invisible company. It has to be hard to make all these calls and fly under the radar, nothing comes up on these guys except reports like this of phone calls.
Candice Carter from this number left a message on my answering machine on 1/3/08 stating that a civil suite was being filed against William Doyle and that it was a time sensitive matter. I called the number back to let them know that we don't even KNOW a Williams Doyle thinking the poor guy is going to get served and never even know why. She said that he had left our number as a next of kin. I asked her who she thought they called when they called our number and she was unable to tell me that. That is when I got suspicious and looked the number, etc. up on the web.
Frank Wallace just called us. The same story.... but they knew a WHOLE lot of information on us, like past and present addresses, family names etc... apparently they didn't expect us to be smart
My brother got a message on his machine for me about a civil suit. I told him next time they call give them my cell number so i can let them know im not falling for their scam. I am definately reporting them to whomever i can.
