They called me asking that I pay off a debt owed to paday loan that truth be told, I NEVER EVER APPLIED FOR OR RECEIVED ! They even asked me was the last four of my social was correct?! I was told that I needed to have my lawyer call them and that they are going to proceed with fraud charges, unless I pay the balance owed. When asked about the company he told me " It sounds like your lying so you may want to pay it off or face jail time". My response was WELL MY LAWYER AND I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT! He then hung up! Jerks
Called my cell today asking for someone I didn't know. I normally don't answer calls on the cell as it is just for me to use to contact home when I go out, but the number was close enough to a friends that I answered.
This 240-965-0203 number called my cell phone and I answered it - prepared for this crap because I have been getting a LOT of scam calls in the past 2 weeks. They said they were CRS Solutions - it was a robo call saying they had personal information on me and I or my attorney should get in touch with them and then the robo recording said to press "1" to speak to a representative. It's so funny how these calls are becoming more and more rampant since the OPM breach which got millions of former and present federal government workers personal information hacked. This is all very scary. It's getting to the point where everytime a number calls that I don't recognize, I automatically assume it's a scam call. These people need to be hung up and SKINNED. God knows how many old folks that don't know any better are getting taken!
I get calls from this number 5 and 6 times a day, it's a recording saying I or my attorney should contact them. I have blocked them with PrivacayStar on my cell phone, sometime their number comes up on the cell phone but with the name of a person that I know. I guess they think I will just answer it seeing the name. What a pain they have gotten to be. I will not answer or return a call a call to them.
