Received phone call from this company. Put in contact with a John Brunell. Stated I had 2 charges against me for unpaid PayDay loans and would be sued if not paid. One from 2008 and another from 2010. Stated both obtained in Pennsylvania. I informed him I did not reside in PA during that time frame, nor did I obtain a PayDay Loan. He responded that he had a conyract and that I could have used any address. When I asked why I had not received any type of correspondence from anyone prior regarding this matter, was told not their responsibility to contact me. When I asked for specific details regarding matter and to have copy of contract sent to me, no info provided and told would be provided when go to court. He was extremely unfriendly, rude and threatening.
I received a call today from 240-965-0203. When I said hello a robo call started saying the creditor is Capitol Risk Solutions. They stated all the same things as stated above from the other entries. I called my local police dept and was informed that this is as scam. If I was going to be served I would not get a phone call notice, and if being sued Iwould recieve paperwork. I just hung up. Recently in the past 3 months I have been receiving a lot of these calls. What is going on.
Denice C - PLEASE don't send them another cent! Let them keep calling - and just ignore it! Or, if you just can't help it, tell them the call is being traced by the FBI - that will get them off the phone QUICKLY! Anyone that has a valid debt that is owed will NOT receive a telephone call - they will get notice in the mail from a reputable business. No one that is going to serve you with a subpoena is going to tell you ahead of time - a valid business will have you served by surprise - why would they tell you ahead of time - they would NEVER find you! Every time I get one of these stupid calls - which has been a whole lot lately - I search the telephone number online and THERE - so many folks telling the same scam stories! Hold on to your coins! If you know what your rights are and how the system REALLY works they will never be able to scare you...
This idiot scammer has been harassing me for some while now a d yesterday I finally pressed 0 to speak to the operator and the person said I owed money to Mutual National loan company & they knew my last 4 digits of SSN. I told them you are a scammer and lied my husband is a FBI agent and I am going to make sure they catch you and arrest you for scamming! I must have called her a profanity and she said "see you in court!".
