Called my phone about 30 minutes ago, 9/20/2016. I answered. No one was there. Just got a call from 347-394-1623 saying "...a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our departments number 347-394-1623. I repeat, 347-394-1623. And, thank you." My number got passed around a lot, today.
Called this morning and I did not pick up; I tend to not answer unknown number much anymore. This is especially true if they come from a location where I don't know anyone (Holly, MI in this case). I'm curious to others on this thread: How many different types of these robocalls do you get and how often. I get an AVERAGE of 8-10 of these annoying calls every week! I continue to block them and new ones just keep coming in from countless other 'spoofed' numbers. Makes me want to get rid of my phone. However, since these predators use computer-based random dialing to find a live number, there is a reasonable chance that they will just find you again in the future.
I'm looking forward to the day that our technology catches up with this crooks and finds a way to stop this practice!!
