Called me incessantly for over a week about 3 months ago, I finally answered only to be asked mileage questions about a lease vehicle that I had turned in a month prior. I told them this and they hung up. Today they started calling AGAIN. I won't answer their calls again!
The only reason I answered was because most of my co-workers have 248 area codes and we all worked from home during the snowstorm. It was a guy w/ strong accent, lots of background noise. He said he was updating my car warranty & needed my mileage. When I told him I was working & couldn't give him the mileage he insisted I guess and I told him I had no idea. I asked him where he was located and he said California which does not coincide with the 248 area code of Oakland County, Michigan. Total Scam!!!
This is a scam do not talk to them, if you bought a vehicle and the warranty is up, they try to act like they are a part of the dealership, they are not!!
Received a call from a man with a very strong accent trying to sell extended insurance coverage on my car after asking what was the mileage . After I asked some questions amount the legality of his offer he decided to transfer me to his manager who never came on the line.
